Apart from the exhibitions some of the resident artists will open their studios during Open House, details will be in the lobby of the building during the weekends of Open House. Open 10-4pm over all 3 weekends.

“Perspectives” is a joint exhibition by four artists (Ann Palmer, Hazel Christine, Helen Cameron, and Pam Sinclair) who come from different backgrounds and have very different styles. 10th - 22nd October in the Upper Gallery

Hugh Aldridge
  • Hugh Aldridge

Hugh Aldridge has been working in pastels for the last twenty years & will be showing paintings of street scenes and inspired by the works of authors such as Dickens and Shakespeare.

My painting and printmaking comes from representational observation; the sculpture is more abstract, exploring the themes and shapes in a less direct way.

Michael Taylor
  • Michael Taylor

A Kent native, Michael has been drawing for many years, he has been exploring how the essence of a person or an animal can be captured in simple line drawings - some of his most recent work will be on show.

Hazel Christine

Hazel Christine is an Abstract artist living and working in Rochester Kent. She has works exhibited in Galleries and Exhibitions around Kent and London and displayed in homes across Europe, America, and Japan.

Helen Cameron

Helen's work embraces several styles and encompasses a variety of subjects including buildings, boats and birds. She exhibits mainly in Kent, but her artworks are displayed in homes worldwide.

Pam Sinclair

Pam's subject matter includes sea and landscape, portraits, life drawing and animals. She also enjoys illustration for children producing her own illustrated books and greeting cards. She is a member of and has exhibited with the Hesketh Hubbard Society, London.

Ann Palmer

Ann works in oils using brush and palette knife often producing highly textural work. Best known known for her seascapes, Ann exhibits internationally, and her work is in collections across the UK, Europe, and the US.
