As a woodturner I search out pieces of English hardwood, which might otherwise end up on someone’s fire, to transform them into beautiful bowls and classical formed hollow vessels. Each piece is unique. I aim to make the best use of the grain and figure of the particular wood and often use coloured dye to enhance the beauty of the piece.
I love to making shavings – do come and watch!
My workshop is on the north side of Faversham Creek, almost opposite Standard Quay. It’s a short walk over the Creek Bridge along Front Brents and Crab Island.
