I make 3D artworks comprised of layered wood, being structural in appearance and often square looking and angular. Mainly using found wood, I cut/manipulate the material to my needs. Though I do use paint, I like the natural characteristics of the wood to remain on display.

The Darkroom at Beach Creative is a community Darkroom based in Herne Bay. It was set up in 2014 by Emily Parris after graduating from Kingston University. Since opening to the general public, Emily has hosted classes and workshops for people of all ages and abilities. Workshops include cyanotype printing, photograms, developing film, how to use a camera and much more!
